Democrats in the House have introduced a sweeping democracy reform bill that will clean up the culture of corruption in Washington and return power back to the people. But Republicans and their Big Money patrons don’t want it to pass. We need your support to get it through the House.

Right now, the House can pass reforms that would:

  • Reduce the impact of big money in our elections, by empowering grassroots donors, requiring disclosure, and reining in the Super PACs.
  • Impose higher ethics standards so that candidates behave themselves when they get to Congress and the White House.
  • Strengthen democracy by ending partisan gerrymandering, registering voters automatically, requiring paper ballots, and cracking down on voter suppression.

To restore a government “of, by and FOR the people,” Congress must pass these urgent reforms.
